You waited by the phone jumping at every sound that
could possibly be a ring. He called. You have a date. Way to go woman! Now it's time to maintain your
cool and make sure that you get that second date.
Remember at all times you are a creature unlike any other.
- Go get a manicure and pedicure. Buy a new outfit. Do lunch. Spend the day being a girl so you
are ready for your man that night..
- Have a cocktail before he picks you up. It will calm your nerves. Only have one though, you
don't want to give him the impression you are a sloshing drunk.
- Remember, if he doesn't shave his face you don't have to shave your legs. Tell him this.
We promise you will be stubble free from here on out.
- Make sure to take enough cash for a cab ride home. A creature unlike any other always has an
escape route planned. If he ends up being a total loser or you both get too drunk to drive at least
you are prepared.
- Be a lady. This is not the time to get wasted or start swearing like a football player.
You want to leave a good impression so you will get that second date and, hopefully, a boyfriend.
- Don't call him. If he is interested he will call you. The point here is to have him chase
you not the other way around. You want him to want you.
